March sales show that consumers are rethinking what they know about KIA
MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 1 /CNW/ – KIA Canada Inc., today announced March 2009 sales of 3,555 units, a 12.6 per cent increase over the March 2008 sales of 3,157 vehicles. On a year-to-date basis, 2009 KIA Canada sales are 6.2 percent ahead of 2008 sales through March. This marks KIA’s best March sales month ever recorded.
Leading the charge with sales of 708 units, was KIA’s fun and stylish urban cross-over vehicle the Soul. The Soul which recently debuted in showrooms across Canada, “Cleary resonates with consumers,” said Maria Soklis, Senior Director of Operations at KIA Canada. “It has strong emotional appeal and reflects KIA’s design shift toward creating vehicles customers aspire to
own.”
