JAGUAR XF MAKES CAR AND DRIVER’S ANNUAL “10BEST” LIST
IRVINE, Calif. December 3, 2008 – The 2009 Jaguar XF was named on Car and Driver’s 27th annual list of “10Best” cars sold in America. The XF is one of only two new vehicles to make the list, with the remaining eight being repeat winners from last year. In addition, it marks Jaguar’s first appearance on the magazine’s prestigious list.
“It is a tremendous honor for the Jaguar XF to be recognized on Car and Driver’s 10Best list,” said Paul Faletti, Jaguar North America’s Vice President of Marketing. “The brand is heading in a new direction, and we are very proud of the cars we produce. It’s great to see that others are acknowledging our efforts.”
A panel of 19 editors determined the winners by evaluating each vehicle on three points – functional performance, driving satisfaction and value. Car and Driver praised multiple facets of Jaguar’s sports sedan, writing that “As pleasant as it is to behold, the XF’s most compelling attribute is outstanding dynamics.”
The Jaguar XF is synonymous with the forward-looking focus that now defines the Jaguar brand, and sets itself far apart from any other premium sports sedan. It continues to remain true to the essence of what has always made great Jaguars the cars they are.
