FIRST REHEARSAL AT CÓRDOBA STADIUM

The Citröen C4, official vehicle of Rally Argentina, which will be acting as Safety Car during the race, did a tryout in the circuit at Stadium “Chateau Carreras” of the City of Córdoba, which will be the venue of three Special Stages during the forth round of the FIA World Rally Championship, appointment that will take place from March 27 to 30.

The Chief Safety Officer, Carlos Borrione, was the one in charge of testing the circuit situated in the surroundings of the Cordobese Stadium that during the race will receive 14 thousand people each day.

During the event the Vice governor of the Province of Córdoba, Mr. Héctor Campana, and the President of Agencia Córdoba Deportes, Mr. Medardo Ligorria were also presert. The guests, together with the media representatives, were able to verify the work done in the circuit, that at this moment is at a 90 per cent of its construction and will be finished before next weekend.

The drawing that will be used next Friday 28th and Saturday 29th will be of 1.780 meters long and one car will run at a time. As regards Sunday 30 the circuit will be modified allowing two cars to run at the same time, in an exciting Super Special Stage that will mark the end of the competition.
